Terrible customer service. It was my first time visiting this place, and I noticed a photo on the wall that looked like ramen, so I politely asked the employee if they served it. Instead of a helpful answer, she gave me a look of pure contempt and dismissively shook her head without saying anything. When I asked to see a menu, she grabbed it with the same rude attitude and slammed it onto the counter instead of handing it to me. The hostility made the entire experience uncomfortable, and it cost them a new customer. I will not be returning.

The #1 Vietnamese restaurant Ive been to in Miami-Dade...by far. The service was speedy and atmosphere is great, but let's talk about the Bahn mi.....absolutely amazing. Not to mention the crab and pork imperial rolls being possibly the best egg rolls Ive ever had. Truly a hidden gem. High recommend!

Tran Am is a lovely, cozy, lunch or dinner spot. You can stop in for a quick (and tasty) meal or take your time trying the extensive menu. They seem to cover a wide variety of Vietnamese style dishes, and some are familiar while some are new to me/unique. After my most recent visit I have to admit my love for the chicken curry and for the pho broth. I say broth because the meat used (particularly for the beef pho) is plentiful but is a bit thicker cut and on the chewier side. Service is quite spotty and scattered, the tables are spread out and commotion from delivery/ pickup orders can take away from the service and atmosphere. The chicken tender appetizer is a must try, with the deliciously delicate honey dipping sauce. Overall the place has great potential, a cozy and friendly vibe and some intriguing and delicious bites.

We were craving food from our home country, so we decided to try this place based on reviews and nice aesthetics. Unfortunately, the experience was deeply disappointing and did not live up to the hype at all. Papaya salad: Bland, just sour. No spiciness to it either Hanoi noodles: AKA bun cha. The portion of noodles was very small (less than a cup) and broken into short pieces. The egg roll was burnt and had a slight sour taste, it was unclear whether this came from the wrapper, filling, or possibly the carrots. The pickled carrots and daikon that accompanied the meat tasted overwhelmingly like straight vinegar. On a positive note, the meat itself was good, and the nước mắm broth was flavorful, but the pickles were far too sour and threw off the balance. Shaken beef with fried rice: First thing I noticed was how broken the rice looked, then I tasted it and it was hard. It was very broken and undercooked/hard rice, inedible. They also stir fry pickled carrots into the dish and made everything sour as well which made it taste extremely off, I would've preferred it on the side like a side salad. Holy Moly! This was so delicious. Fresh rolls with peanut sauce, vermicelli bowl with pork belly, and sauce trio. The chili garlic oil is amazing! The flavors work so well. The pickles are definitely homemade. Everything was fresh. Highly recommend and I even had it Doordashed and it was still so good.
